What happens when one loses a spouse and can’t afford to live in his home any longer? Is a disabled veteran?
Roger Peterson does what others have not: donated his home to other disabled veterans, having paid out of his pocket for much of the construction while awaiting a 503 charity status.
I know Roger, I recalled when his wife passed away. He hardly had funds for a basic funeral and was lost without her. Now, he is giving from his heart.
These are days when it is tough to give, especially to someone you don’t know. I know where my finances stand and I can barely scrape enough money together to pay my bills, but I will give what I can even if it’s 5 bucks. And, spread the word. There is surely a good soul out there or many who have a heart for the disabled veterans.
This is the GoFundMe page to help him finish work on the home for vets.
